SISIP Financial Services Canadian Forces Personnel Assistance Fund
It is with great pride the Ottawa Police Service is host to the 2009 NAPST in the National Capital Region and has chosen to raise money for the Canadian Forces Personnel Assistance Fund in support of our Canadian Troops.
The SISIP Financial Services (SISIP FS) Canadian Forces Personnel Assistance Fund (CFPAF) provides financial assistance to serving and former members of the Canadian Forces and their immediate families as well as to the families of deceased members through several different programs: self improvement loan program, distress loan and distress grant program, minor disbursement grant program and the education assistance loan program. The CFPAF has been able to assist over 15,000 Canadian Forces members and will continue doing so with the money generated by donations and interest earned on CFPAF capital.
